Victor Grau — born in 1995 in Aalborg, Denmark.

I paint with oil‑sticks on raw canvas, seeking immediacy and the poetry of imperfection. I translate the nostalgic atmospheres of American music and sports into color, rhythm and mark. I welcome accidents: smudges and overlaps become compositional decisions that translate sound and movement into paint. I left Denmark for California at 16 and spent most of my adult life in Los Angeles and New York, with shorter chapters in Paris and Copenhagen before eventually returning to Aalborg in northern Denmark.
